MS-Optical 35mm f/3.5 Perar Lens for Leica M-Mount

This lens was the first, or nearly the first lens produced in quantity by MS-Optical. Now they are very uncommon, but it's an amazing travel lens. While it isn't going to win any awards for ultimate sharpness at the widest aperture, it allows my M6 fit right into my pocket. It's my go-to lens for the Leica when I don't need speed.

Here's some photos with it:

4x5 Black and White X-Ray Direct Positive Film Development

I'm working on refining my process for shooting 4x5 x-ray film, and developing it as a direct positive.

The photo looks better on a light box than when scanned.

Polaroid 900 4x5 Conversion with Schneider 135mm f/3.5 Xenotar

Steven Icanberry from Alpenhaus Camera custom built a Polaroid 900 for me years ago before he passed, with the Xenotar 135mm lens. I believe this was one of the first ones he ever built with that lens - and he passed away a couple of years ago, so no one is really doing these kinds of conversions anymore.

Despite my love of rangefinders for 35mm film, I've never gelled too much with the Polaroid. The combined viewfinder and rangefinder are great, and one of the reasons I went this route, but the awkwardness of shooting while trying to focus with a mediocre RF (the RF patch is very dim) made it difficult.

However I get a nice wider FOV on this compared to my SLR cameras, so decided to shoot some with it at a Renaissance Faire. Here's some photos:
