Nikon EM 35mm Film Camera

I recently picked up a Nikon EM for $20. I really like how lightweight and simple the camera is. It's aperture-priority automatic only and that's what I shoot most of the time so it works perfectly for quick snapshots. I like that it "beeps" quietly if the shutter speed is too slow or fast, and the one-button "backlight" compensation is quick and easy.

As with most/all of the more compact and simple cameras in Nikon's non-pro lineup, my only hang-up is the ~92% viewfinder. I really like having exact 100% viewfinders, but alas I will always have to use one of my F cameras for that.

Rodenstock 90mm f/6.8 Lens on 4x5

90mm is my favorite focal length for 4x5 photographs. A couple of years ago my Nikkor 90mm f/8 shutter exploded while out photographing, and I have yet to fix it. For now, this Rodenstock is a fine substitute.

This Rodenstock is not the "green-stripe" version, but I don't think there's any appreciable difference. This lens might have the tiniest bit less "snap" or "contrast" compared to the Nikkor, but again, nothing to really write home about.

Voigtlander Vitessa with 50mm Ultron Fixed-Lens 35mm Camera

I searched for a long time before finding a Vitessa that worked without needing an overhaul. The Vitessa I have is equipped with the 50mm f/2 Ultron and does not have the selenium meter. I think this is one of the most beautiful and interesting cameras, though pretty heavy / dense due to the metal construction and complex mechanisms. It makes excellent images:

Efke "Aura" IR820 Infrared 4x5 Film

I still have some of this film left, but it's been affected by age. Here are some images from it, taken with 4x5 sheet film:

Kodak Portra 160 in Medium Format

I prefer Portra 160 over 400 for its somewhat higher contrast and warmth. Here are some 120 images:

Noblex 150U Medium Format Panoramic Camera

The Noblex is a huge and cumbersome camera, but can make gorgeous panoramics. Here's a variety of them:
